Services to be Held
Carolyn J. McGregor, 34, of San Diego, California, formerly of Monroe died Saturday, May 23, 1992, at San Diego California, of injuries sustained from a hit and run accident while riding her bike.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, 1992, at Wallace Pence Funeral Home in Newton.
Minister will be Rev. Karen Nichol Dungan, pastor of the Mingo United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.

Friends may call at the Wallace Pence Funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.

Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.

Survivors are her parents, Kenneth E. and Charlene McGregor of rural Monroe; five sisters, Janet (Mrs. Kevin) Borts of Mingo, Jean (Mrs. Steve) Johnson of Escondido, California, Sharon (Mrs. Dennis) Verhey of Pella, Kathy (Mrs. Frank) Vander Broek of Monroe, Donna (Mrs. Monte) Busselman of Richland, Washington; four nieces and a nephew and a special friend, Jack Greelis.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leslie and Margaret McGregor, her maternal grandparents, Merritt and Jeanette Westbrook, and a step-grandfather, Edward Scheffers.

Carolyn was an Accounting Supervisor of sales for IMED. She had been employed by IMED for 10 years.
She was born September 18, 1957, at Newton.
Carolyn was a graduate of Monroe High School in 1976 and a graduate of Iowa State University. She also had attended AIB in Des Moines.

She had been a resident of Jasper County until she moved to San Diego where she had lived for 10 years.

Memorials in her name may be left at the funeral home.
