Services Held
Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence (Nina) McAnelly, a former resident of Monroe was held February 9, 1984, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.
The Rev. B. L. Payne, pastor of the Southtown Baptist Church in Des Moines conducted services.
Burial was in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Robert McAnelly of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Rayburn (Helen) Larimer of Des Moines and Mrs. Don (Dixie) Weeks of Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Minear of Newton.
She was preceded by her parents, two grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters.
The daughter of Jobe and Mary Etta Cummings Lewis, she was born Dec. 10, 1905, at Unionville, Mo.
She was married Aug. 15, 1928 at Unionville.
