Services to be Held
Services for Edward J. Masters will be held Friday, April 7, 2006, at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Interment will be at Palo Alto Cemetery.
Edward J. Masters of Reasnor passed away April 2, 2006. He was born August 5, 1931.
Ed graduated from Newton High School. He was a production worker at Maytag Company for over 30 years.
Ed was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 923 where he was a Past Senior Regent; he was also a member of the Reasnor Fire Department. Ed enjoyed woodworking, and spending time with his family.
Memorials to the Reasnor Fire Department may be left at the funeral home.
Those left to honor Ed’s memory are his wife, Glorene of Reasnor, Iowa; daughter, Dianna (Dennis) Wares of Ankeny, Iowa; step-son, Jeff (Carol) Bailey of Chariton, Iowa; 3 step-daughters, Brenda Smith of Collins, Iowa, Annette (Corey) Ditsworth of Freeport, Illinois, and Barbara (Brooks) Kincaid of Collins, Iowa; 3 grandchildren, Robert Divine (Melanie), Rian (Jacky) Risinger, Dejah (Daniel) Bennett; 10 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ida Mae (Don) Morris of Newton, Iowa, and Doris Haines of Washington state; and many nieces and nephews.
