Services Pending
Ruth Wheeler Lust, 82, a former resident of Newton, died at Taree, New South Wales, Australia, where she was vacationing with her sons, Carroll and Gary Lust of Iowa City.
Plans for a memorial services are pending.
She also is survived by a son, Dean, of Anchorage, Alaska; six grandchildren; two sisters, Beulah Walraven of Pella and Cecile Tool of Ankeny; and two sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
The daughter of Vernon and Netta Wheeler, she was born Oct. 13, 1906 in Reasnor and resided in Newton, Anchorage, Alaska and Iowa City.

Services to be Held
Funeral services for Ruth Wheeler Lust, 82, a former resident of Newton and native of Reasnor, who died while in New South Wales, Australia, will be held December 16, 1989, at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, southeast of Newton.
The Rev. Adrian Schoenmaker, pastor of the Sharon Center United Methodist Church, will conduct services.
The family will be present at the church following services.
Survivors are three sons, Carroll and Gary, both of Iowa City, and Dean of Anchorage, Alaska; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Beulah Walraven of Pella and Cecile Tool of Ankeny.
