Life Story of Leland Lust
Leland Lust of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away very suddenly Saturday evening, Oct. 30, at Salinas, Calif. He died of a heart attack after attending the funeral of his grand-nephew, Larry Joe Van Baren, on Thursday morning.
Mr. Lust was born January 6, 1904, at Monroe. He was the son of George W. and Nancy E. Lust. He lived for several years around Monroe and Newton vicinities.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Carroll Roger of Mankato, Minn., Donald Dean of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dr. Gary Lust of Iowa City; six grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Vida Van Baren of Salinas, Calif., Mrs. Lettie Moore of Springfield, Mo., and Mabel Lust and Mrs. Opal Nollen both of Pella.
Funeral services were held Nov. 3 from the Church of Christ Church in Fairborn, Ohio. Interment was in the Memorial Gardens near Fairborn.
