Services Held for Retiree Hollis L. Lust
Hollis L. “Hollie” Lust of Newton, a Maytag retiree, died July 20 at Skiff Medical Center, Newton, of cancer. He was 68. Services were held Saturday in Newton and burial was in Memorial park Cemetery.
Lust first worked for the company in September 1936. His continuous service began in March 1941 when he began working in the toolroom. He remained in that department the entire time, retiring in June 1976.
Survivors include his wife, Nina; a son, Mel L. of Newton; a daughter, Barbara Mickelson, wife of Lren, automatic assembly, and a sister, Cheryl Campbell of Braymer, Mo.
