Life Story of Milton Linn
Milton Irvin Linn, 65, passed away Thursday, July 19, at his home in Monroe after a lingering illness.
The son of Francis Raymond and Augusta Clara Hennis Linn, Milton was born at State Center July 12, 1908.
He was united in marriage to Marjorie Ellen Hagan July 9, 1936, at Nashua.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Marilyn) Olsen of Annandale, Va.; two grandchildren; a brother, Elwood Linn of Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Velma) Newton of Albuquerque, N.M.
Mr. Linn spent most of his life at Des Moines. He has lived in Monroe for the past five years. He was a member of the Grandview Methodist Church in Des Moines.
Funeral services for Mr. Linn were held Saturday, July 21, at the Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Monroe. The Rev. Warren McFate conducted the service.
Interment was in the Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
