Graveside services for Marjorie Ellen Linn were held Friday, April 6, 2001, at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Rev. Merle Smith officiated the services.
Marjorie Ellen Linn, age 83, passed away at Skiff Medical Center in Newton, Iowa, on Tuesday, April 3, 2001.
Marjorie was born in Cheyenne, WY, on August 27, 1917, the daughter of Irvin and Florence (Kinart) Hagan. Marjorie was united in marriage on July 9, 1938, to Milton I. Linn at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She has lived in Monroe for 36 years.
She is survived by a daughter Marilyn Olsen of Cartersville, Georgia; two grandsons, Tod Olsen and his wife Amy and Derek Olsen all of Cartersville, Georgia; two great granddaughters, Lindsay and Jordan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step father Carl Shaw, husband in 1973 and a sister, Mardelle Lewis. A memorial for the American Cancer Society has been designated by the family.
