Ferguson, Sophrona - 1826-1864

Miss Sophrona Ferguson, about 40 years of age, and for several years past of unsound mind, was found dead in her bed at the county home last Wednesday morning. Her brother went to bring the remains home and the funeral will be held from the M. E. Church in Valeria today. The internment will be at Sams Graveyard.
Headstone reads: Sophronia, dau. of Joseph Ferguson, died Jan 26, 1864, aged 37 years, 2 months, 22 days [therefore, born Nov 4, 1826]
