Services Held
Services for Eric Alverson Arndt were held Tuesday, January 29, 2002, at the Monroe Presbyterian Church. Pastor William Lemosy officiated the services. Burial was on the Brodersen family plot at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Eric Alverson Arndt was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on December 30, 1956, and passed away in California on January 21, 2002. He was educated in Covina, California, graduating from high school there. He was employed in production management for a time and was mot recently a sheet metal worker.
Eric is survived by his mother, Reita Malm in Peoria, Arizona; a son, Errol Arndt and a daughter, Erin Arndt both of Texas; two sisters, Alicia Robinson of Malvern, Iowa, and Angela Arndt of Covina, California. Also surviving is his grandmother, Dessie Carnahan and her husband Homer of Monroe; a half brother, Carter Arndt; a step brother, Jeff Arndt, both in Illinois and his companion Rene.
He was preceded in death by his father, E. A. Arndt, a half sister, Tina Arndt and his grandfather, Wilbur Brodersen.
