Evansville, Ind.

Michael Henry Davis, 71, of Evansville, passed away at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at his home. Michael was born December 15, 1944, in Evansville, the son of the late Melvin and Lillian (Mills) Davis. He was a 1963 graduate of Bosse High School and served in the National Guard. Michael had worked in security for Deaconess Hospital for over 30 years. He loved his sports, especially the Evansville Aces, Indianapolis Colts and I.U. Football. Michael was also an avid golfer and enjoyed the races at Ellis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Karen (Horton) Davis, of Evansville; daughter, Julie Hall, of Evansville; sons, Greg Davis, of Newton, Iowa, and Scott Davis, of Evansville; and grandchildren, Chynna Hall, Marissa Raymond, Kameryn and Madden Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville, with Reverend Matthew King officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 until 7 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
