Corabelle Robison Dies Wednesday; Services Saturday

Colfax - Mrs. Vernon (Corabelle) Robison, 96, of Colfax died Wednesday at the Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Colfax Christian Church.

The Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.

Survivors are two cousins, Mrs. Josephine Campbell of Mullingville, Kan., and Bill Campbell of Mullingville, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Ladye Horton.

Mrs. Robison was a member of the Christian Church in Colfax and the Colfax American Legion Auxiliary and was an honorary member of the Colfax Women's Club.

The daughter of George and Mary Mills Smith, she was born July 27, 1881 at Audubon. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Fri 3 Mar 1978.
