Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Caldwell–Brien–Robbins Funeral Home for Thomas Holub, 34, of 3630 Twanda Drive, who died of a gunshot wound Saturday at his home. Burial will be i8n Glendale Cemetery.

Dr. R. C. Wooters, Polk County medical examiner, said tests to determine the nature of the shooting were not complete. He said indications are the shooting was an accident.

Mr. Holub was born in Newton and was a Des Moines resident the past 14 years. He was employed in the collections division of the Iowa Revenue Department.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Holub of Newton; two sisters, Betty Hamilton of Virginia Beach, Va., and Sue DeBruyn of Marshalltown; and his grandmother, Mary Funk of Newton.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
