January 31, 1957 - September 23, 2015

Craig John Stiffler, age 58, of Cave Creek, Arizona and formerly of Prairie City, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Prairie City United Methodist Church, with burial following at Waveland Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. The son of Marlowe and Donna (Clymer) Stiffler, Craig was born on January 31, 1957, in Newton, Iowa. Craig graduated from Prairie City High School in 1975 and studied accounting while at Des Moines Area Community College. On August 25, 2011, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Brandhof in Carlton, Oregon. He attended the Scottsdale Bible Church. Craig loved traveling, hiking, gardening and spending time with his family. He touched many lives with his kindness, integrity, sense of humor and his generosity.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Marilyn; children, Bradley John (Shelly) Stiffler and Stacey Marie Stiffler; a grandson, Lucas John Stiffler; two sisters, Cindy (Pete) Gardner and Nancy Lunn and a brother, Chuck (Chardell) Stiffler. Also surviving is his step mother, Joan Pyle-Stiffler; a step daughter, Megan (Ben) Willet; a step son, Matthew (Kelly Casey) McMullin; a step grandson, Myles McMullin and several nieces and nephews.
