Graveside Service At Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 12:00pm

Velda F. Wolff, 92, of Newton died on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Park Centre Care Center. A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton.

Velda, the daughter of John and Pearl (Rose) Lane, was born on August 10, 1923 in Webb, Iowa. She graduated from high school and was united in marriage with Earl Wolff. Velda was a homemaker and enjoyed bird and squirrel watching. Velda was a loving and caring aunt and will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her three sisters, Erma Westercamp of Newton, Gwen Howe of Spencer, and Garnet Vierow of Albert City.

Velda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; a daughter in infancy; brother, Burdette Lane; and sister, Helen Brinkley.~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 16 Sept 2015.
