Dec 9, 1934 - Aug 13, 2015A Celebration of John’s Life will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015, at the Colfax Community Center in Colfax.
"To the world you may only be one man, but to one man you may be the world" No truer words could be used to describe John B. Hogan Jr....a man that meant so much to so many. He was a loyal husband, and a loving father. At times of weakness he would offer you strength. In times of darkness he would offer you light. Grandpa, you will be forever missed and never forgotten.
He is survived by 8 children: Cori Huntrods of Collins, John Hogan of Grinnell, Cathy Hogan of Newton, Judy Johnson of Newton, Colleen Brandon of Des Moines, Tim Hogan of Des Moines, Pat Hogan of Colfax, and Chris Hogan of Colfax; 25 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. ~ Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 13 Aug 2015.
