Death of Brother-In-Law

Funeral services for Oren Herndon of Des Moines were held Wednesday, September 29, at Westover Funeral Home in that city.

Mr. Herndon was the owner and operator of the Des Moines Seed and Nursery and was a brother-in-law to John Horton of Colfax.

He passed away Monday, September 27, 1976. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Thurs 7 Oct 1976.
