FAYE ZERLEY

MONROE - Faye Rickabaugh Zerley, 75, of Monroe died Sunday, Mmarch 8, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Monroe United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Jerry Mc Gee, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. Frazer Thomason, a Des Moines pastor, will conduct services. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.

Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.

Survivors are a daughter, Jacqueline Robinson of Monroe; two grandchildren, Sean and Missy; and her mother, Cassie Rickabaugh of Monroe.

Mrs. Zerley was preceded in death by her husband, Burton, father, Lorin Rickabaugh, two brothers, Lee and Raymond, and a sister, Irma Tool.

She was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church and Coffee Club.

The daughter of Lorin and Cassie Frazer Rickabaugh, she was born Dec. 28, 1916 in Otley and was a 1934 graduate of Monroe Community High School.

She was married to Burton Zerley Sept. 23, 1940 at Louisville, Ky. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Mon 9 Mar 1992.
