Everett "Ray" Titus, Jr. age 75, formerly of Council Bluffs, passed away June 9, 2015 in Des Moines, where he has lived the past 10 months.

Ray was born January 1, 1940, in Des Moines, to Everett Titus, Sr., and Ruth (Jackson) Titus. He graduated from Des Moines Tech. Ray was a manager at Perkins and also worked at the Bird Cage. Ray was a member of SS John and Paul Catholic Church in Altoona, Iowa, and the Knights of Columbus.

He was united in marriage to wife Rose J. on April 30, 1982. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, wife Rose in 2014, brother Robert Jackson, grandson Tanner.

Survivors include Ray's children, daughter Missy Kline and husband Dave, son Tim Titus, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren ,all of Des Moines, brothers Robert, Newton, IA; David, Altoona, IA; and Richard of Des Moines, sisters Betty Miller, Des Moines, Doris Morgan, Illinois, nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Co. Bluffs followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, at Corpus Christi-Queen of Apostles Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Omaha, NE. Luncheon will follow back at Queen of Apostles Church. Family will direct memorials. ~ The Des Moines Register Legacy, Des Moines, Iowa 15 Jun 2015.
