Resident's Mother Died

Judith Yeater Tasler, 54, of Cape Coral, Fla., died of a brain tumor Monday, January 4, at her daughter's home in Colfax. Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 7, at St. Augustin's Catholic Church in Des Moines. Burial was in Byers Cemetery in Elkhart.

Mrs. Tasler was born in Des Moines and moved to Florida four years ago. She was formerly a social worker for the Association of Retarded Citizens and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Tasler of Des Moines and Jennifer Middleton of Colfax; two sons, Bradley of Des Moines and Toby of Cape Coral; her parents, Fern and Forest Yeater of Des Moines; two sisters, Shirley Juehl of Omaha, Neb. and Andrea Bridges of Harrisonvile, Mo.; and eight grandchildren. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa thurs 14 Jan 1993.
