Dropped Dead in California

Mrs. May Rogers Rose, a former resident of Jasper County, dropped dead in Los Angeles, Calif., Friday morning while shopping in the business district.

Mrs. Rose was the only daughter of the late Tommy Rogers, pioneer newspaper man of Newton, and a cousin of Mrs. J. B. Ryan, of Colfax.

She had apparently been in good health and her sudden death was a great shock to her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband and a number of other relatives. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 11 Feb 1932.
