Ray Barber's Mother Dies

Mrs. John P. Barber, of Newton passed away at her home in that city Thursday, following an illness of almost a year.

She was the mother of Ray Barber, for many years a resident of Colfax but now living at Newton. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 17 Sept 1931.
