Mrs. Andrew Engle, who had been suffering from a paralytic stroke since Monday, passed away at ther home on Saturday morning.

Mrs. Engle had a kind disposition and will be greatly missed amoung her friends and in the community.

She leaves her husband, three step-sons, Fred, percy, and James, who were with her during her illness.

Her funeral was held at the Metz Church, Sunday at 2 p.m. with rev. becker in charge. A large company was present to pay their last respect to the body, which was laid to rest in the Metz cemetery. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Jan 1931.
