Brother of J. B Ryan Dies

W. L. Ryan, 63, of Des Moines, brother of J. B. Ryan of this city died Thursday afternoon at the Methodist hospital in that city.

Mr. Ryan was a promnient attoney in Des Moines and well known in Colfax and Jasper County. He was born in Newton, son of the Late Judge David Ryan, graduated from Iowa State College and the law school of the State University of Iowa City.

Besides his brother here n Colfax Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife Mrs. Fannie Wilkins Ryan, a son David Ryan and one sister, Mrs. E. E. Faville of Portland, Oregon.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from Harbach's funeral home in Des Moines. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 29 Apr 1937.
