Doris Irene Anderson

Doris Irene Anderson, 72, of Isle, Minnesota, formerly of Colfax, died Wednesday, March 21st.

Memorial services were held Saturday, March 31st at the Living Water Assembly of God Church in Onamia, Minnesota. Memorials may be sent to Robert E. Anderson at 12526 270th Ave., Isle, Minnesota 56342.

The daughter of Ethel Ingram and George Young, she was born August 27, 1928, in Colfax, where she lived until her family moved to the Minneapolis area in 1944. She married Bob Anderson on April 2, 1945, in Newton.

Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Chris; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathy and Gene Cota, Roberta Bendt, and Betty Jo and Steve Harms, Patricia Underwood; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Marvel Young, 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a granddaughter. ~ Jasper County Tribune (Iowa), Thursday, April 5, 2001
