Altoona - Clarence N. Drew, 86, of Altoona, died of congestive heart failure, on Monday, Oct. 16, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Wednesday with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials to any hospice organization or to the Jasper County Loan Closet, made available by the Jasper County Unit of the American Cancer Society will be accepted.
