Evelyn Yelick Bryan, 75, died of a heart ailment Friday at Parkridge Manor in Pleasant Hill, where she was a resident. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in McKeever Cemetery near Colfax.

Mrs. Bryan lived most of her life in Des Moines, where she was a bookkeeper for Iowa State Bank. She was a member of Grant Park Christian Church, East Gate Eastern Star Lodge, Daughters of the Nile and Rebekka Lodge.

She is survived by two sons, H. Edward Yelick of Des Moines and Robert Yelick of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Lyle Whitehead of Chicago; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the East Gate Masonic Lodge. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa, Monday May 27, 1991
