Death of Mother
Mrs. Nellie Marshall, mother of L. C. Marshall formerly of Colfax, but now of Greeley, Colorado, died Thursday, February 24th at the General hospital in Greeley, Colo.
Mrs. Marshall was born Aug. 31, 1880, in Mitchellville, and spent most of her life in the Prairie City community, moving to Greeley in November of 1952, to be near her children. She was 74 years of age.
Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Prairie City, Monday, February 28th, with the Rev. John Darlington officiating.
Burial was in the Westview cemetery near Prairie City.
