Ed and Jane (Main) Jones were born in Colfax, Iowa and graduated together from Colfax High School in 1937. On June 13, 1943, Ed and Jane were married in Colfax at the First United Methodist Church. While living in Colfax, they owned and operated Jones Produce and Hatchery. In 1964, Ed and Jane moved to Ankeny, Iowa where they owned and operated Jones Dairy Sweet Diner until 1973. During retirement Ed and Jane made their home in Mesa, Arizona, followed by Las Vegas, Nevada before returning to Ankeny, Iowa in 2011. They are survived by their three children and their families; Cindy (Ron) Wagner, Sue (Marvin) Busta, and Tom (Karen) Jones, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa 18 Oct 2013.
