Craig E. Stevens, age 55 of Colfax, died Monday, November 24, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home, with burial taking place at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 28, 2014, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice or to Blank Children's Hospital. The son of Claude Earl and Martha (Sager) Stevens, Craig was born on August 13, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa. Craig graduated from Colfax High School in 1978. He went to work at Vermeer in Pella and worked there for 36 years. He was united in marriage to Peggy L. Bruce on May 21, 1993 in Newton.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Peggy; a step son, Gregory Ingram; a grandson, Logan James Reed; his mother, Martha and siblings, Sandy (Jay) Williams, Nancy (Bob) Rhone, and Rob (Sheri) Stevens.
