Frederick Lint, an old and greatly esteemed citizen of Clear Creek and Poweshiek townships, died last Monday at the residence of Jacob Baldwin, in Clear Creek township, aged 81 years and 3 months.

The funeral was from the house on Tuesday at 9:30 o’clock a.m.; Rev. Brubaker, the Dunkard minister from Maxwell, conducting the service and the remains were interred at Greencastle.

Mr. Lint had resided in Jasper county for 22 years, and leaves a family of six children – five of them girls. His wife has been dead several years, and latterly he has made his home with his daughter at whose house he died.
