Mrs. Clement, 67, Dies After Short Illness

Mrs. Maud Clement, 47, of 121 North Sixth Ave West, died at the Skiff Memorial hospital at 7:10 Wednesday morning after a short illness. Mrs. Clement was born in Monroe and moved to Newton in 1914.

She is survived by one son, Roy, of Newton; one sister, Mrs. Cass Mason of Hood River, Ore.; and one brother, Floyd Webster, of Mingo.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Morgan Funeral home. Interment will be in the Newton Union cemetery. ~ The Newton Daily News, January 9, 1914.
