George ‘Bud’ Harrelson Jr.

George “Bud” Harrelson Jr., 60, passed away March 29, 2014, at Mission Hospital in California.

He is survived by his son, Mike Harrelson of Newton; sister, Sue Van Gorp of Merriam, Kan.; dad, George (Betty) Harrelson of Newton; mom, Mary Ann (Loren) Moomaw of Des Moines; his aunts, Judy Dunlap of Raytown, Mo., Mary Jo Dunlap of Kirksville, Mo., and Judy Dunlap of Milan, Mo.; uncle, Joe Harrelson of Newton; his nephews, Dustin and Dylann Van Gorp; great-nephews, Sebastian and Kemper Attebery; numerous cousins; and a special friend, Mary Robertson of California.

Bud was a lover of Harley Davidson motorcycles and worked for Harley Davidson for many years. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 23, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The visitation will begin with a memorial service. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News.

He is survived by his son, Mike Harrelson of Newton; sister, Sue Van Gorp of Merriam, Kansas; dad, George (Betty) Harrelson of Newton; mom, Mary Ann (Loren) Moomaw of Des Moines; his aunts, Judy Dunlap of Raytown, Missouri, Mary Jo Dunlap of Kirksville, Missouri, and Judy Dunlap of Milan, Missouri; uncle, Joe Harrelson of Newton; his nephews, Dustin and Dylann Van Gorp; great-nephews, Sebastian and Kemper Attebery; numerous cousins; and a special friend, Mary Robertson of California.
