Resident’s Brother Died
Merlyn R. (Mert) Neville, age 50, of Omaha, Neb. And a former resident of the Dunlap, IA area, died at his home on March 20, of a heart attack.
Graveside services were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha on March 24th at 1:00 p.m. The arrangements were handled by Roeder Mortuary and the body was cremated.
Mert was a carpenter by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Noretta Neville of Dunlap. Mert was born on July 26, 1941 in Iowa.
Survivors are his wife, Karen and three sons, Jeffrey, Mark, Mike and one grandson Lee all of Omaha, Neb.
Also surviving are four sisters, Norma Jean Warnock, Colfax, Ia; Sharon Orr, Eldora, IA; Loretta Miller, Missouri Valley, IA; and Robin Brink, Mt. Carmel, Il and four brothers: Ervin (Junior) Neville, Omaha, Neb.; Carl Penke, Weeping Water, Neb.; and Steven Carmichal, Elk City, OK and a host of family and friends. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa or The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Thurs March 1992.
