LIFETIME KELLOGG
RESIDENT DIES

Services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Kellogg Christian church for Mrs. Simon (Allie Alpha) Anderson, 73, who died at her home in Kellogg Tuesday morning.

Conducting the services was the Rev. Charles Fry, pastor of the church. Interment was in Our Silent City cemetery.

A lifelong resident of the Kellogg area, she was born north of that community on May 31st, 1886, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Smith. She was educated in Jasper county schools and on June 29th, 1910, was married to Simon Anderson.

Her husband preceded her in death, as did four brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Grace) Adams of Malcom, Mrs. Mahlon (Laurine) Wickersham of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Koger of Everett, Wash.; five sons, James, Joe and Clifford of Kellogg, Glen of Gilman, and Roy of Newton; 16 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Anderson moved from a farm north of Kellogg to Kellogg about 10 years ago.
