Janet Ellen Stover, 69, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at UnityPoint Hospice Taylor House surrounded by her loving family.
Janet was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Prairie City, the daughter of Clyde and Lois Jarnagin. She was a longtime member of Prairie City United Methodist church. Janet retired from the Des Moines Public School system after many years of faithful service.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Harry Stover, Jr.; sons, Matt (Kimberly) Stover and Vince (Hollie) Stover; grandchildren, Gabe, Ethan, Caleb, Isaac, Layla and Oliver; sisters, Nancy Pieper and Ann (Don) Pendroy; other loving relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Janet’s request, her body has been donated to Des Moines University for research and there are no services planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to UnityPoint Hospice Taylor House in loving memory of Janet. Online condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.
