CINCINNATI, Ohio – Funeral services for Anne Gunn Wood, 103, of Cincinnati, Ohio, a resident f Newton from 1917 until 1973, were held recently in Cincinnati.

Survivors are thee grandchildren, Wood Lockhart of Sausalito, Calif., Gale Griffin of Englewood, N. J., and J. Thomas Lockhart of Minneapolis, Minn.; five great-grandchildren; and two nephews.

Mrs. Wood, active in the newton community until moving to Cincinnati, died Jan. 16 in Cincinnati.

She was born Nov. 23, 1887 in Lexington, Neb., and was married to Dr. Rollin W. Wood, a longtime Newton physician. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Thurs. 31 Jan 1991.
