Dies at Des Moines

Don C. Weston, 60, of Des Moines, a former Colfax resident died Sunday at the Mercy Hospital after a six months illness.

Mr. Weston was at one time a resident of Colfax and while here worked in a drug store. He was a druggist at Granger, Iowa, until 1917 when he went to Des Moines where he worked at the same trade until he retired. He was a member of Pioneer Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Alice Boggs of Kansas City, Mo., a son Roy O. Weston of Des Moines, two brothers S. W. Weston of Santa Ana, California, and O. P. Weston of Castle Rock, Colorado, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn’s Funeral Home with burial in the Glendale Masonic Cemetery. ~ Newspaper unnamed, possibly The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa or The Newton (IA) Daily News.
