Residents’ Brother Died

Word was received on January 6, 1985 of the death of Gerald G. “Jack” Pollock, 61, of Duncanville, Texas.

Mr. Pollock served 21 years in the Marine Corps. He retired in Texas with his wife, Aleene and four sons, Jerry, Larry, Ronnie and Randy and several grandchildren.

He is also survived by four sisters, Marge Nichol of Knoxville, Vi Landis, Jeanie Braun and Carol Trotter of Baxter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Military and Masonic services and burial were in Duncanville. ~ Newspaper unnamed, but possibly The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa or The Newton (IA) Daily News.
