Rev. Hamilton, Former Newton Minister, Dies

The Rev. William C. Hamilton of Moberly, Mo., 60, pastor of The Newton First Assembly of God Church for nine years, died Sunday at the Boone County Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cater Funeral Home in Moberly.

The Rev. Alan Ullestad and the Rev. N. Cleo Tapp will conduct services. Burial will be in Clark, Mo.

Survivors are his son, the Rev. Michael Hamilton of Springfield Mo; a daughter, Kathy Kelsey; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife July 24, 1978.

The Rev. Mr. Hamilton was a pastor for 37 years, retiring July 1, 1978 due to ill health.
