John M. Travis, 29, of Newton died on Monday, January 13, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

John’s body has been cremated and there are no services scheduled.

Those left to honor John’s memory are his father, Jim of Newton; son, Trenton Finch of Kellogg; his six brothers, grandmother, Adeline Travis of Canton, Missouri; and his aunt, Kerri (Jim) Blessing of Canton, Missouri.
