Barbara Jean (Hall) Summey

MILESBURG, Pa. - Barbara Jean (Hall) Summey, of Milesburg, Pa. died December 4, 2013 at her home at the age of 83 years. She was born on February 3, 1930 in Newton, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Ruby Oliver Hall. On January 21, 1951, she married Johnny William Summey in Brevard, N.C. Barb and Johnny lived in York, Maine until their retirement, then moved to Lady Lake, Fla. for many years. After the death of her husband, Barb moved to Ormond Beach, Fla. to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean, which she enjoyed every day from her living room window.

Due to health reasons Barb moved to Milesburg, Pa. recently to be closer to her sons. Barb is survived by her 3 children, Donald Scott (Amy) Summey and David William (Natalie) Summey both of Milesburg, Pa. and a daughter Teresa Faye (Michael) Allen of Battleground, Wash. 8 grandchildren, Eric Summey and Stacey Summey, Jonathon (Julie) Allen , Katie Allen and David Summey, Kara Ballenger, Kendra Kolp, and Tiffany Kolp, also surviving is a great-granddaughter, Lydia Allen and a close cousin and friend Ruby Wylie of Newton, Ind.
