Arie Van Weelden, 69, died in Lynnville, May 15, 1980.

He was the son of John and Lijntje Spriering Van Weelden. He married Jennie Swank February 18, 1933. After she died, he married Elizabeth Terpstra March 24, 1959, in Texas.

He was a truck line owner and operator for many years.

Survivors include his wife; and his children, Robert Lee Van Weelden, Mrs. Delores Ann Wallace, Mrs. Diana Gregory; one stepson Ralph Terpstra; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman and Dick and a sister, Anna Van Der Weerff.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his first wife, one son, one brother, one sister and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 17 at the Lynnville Friends Church with Rev. Kenneth Santee officiating. Burial was in the Sully Cemetery.
