Patricia Jane “Patty” Luckey Strickland, the daughter of Carl Augustus and Martha Marguerite Annis Luckey was born on May 16, 1934 in Riverside, Iowa. One of eleven children Patty went to school in the Riverside Public schools through 11th grade. While in school Patty played girls 6-on-6 basketball, and was a cheerleader. From her five children her family expanded to include 29 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren. Patty enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and going to the casino with her family. Patty is also survived by her brother, James (Carolyn) Luckey of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and many nieces and nephews who are left to carry on her legacy.
