DENISON - Grace Ann Toland, 78, of Denison died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at Beacon Hill Nursing Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was born on Nov. 27, 1934 in Walker, Linn Co. Iowa to George Frank and Myrtle Beth Roger Holub. Mrs. Toland graduated from Vinton High School in Vinton, Iowa. She married Jimmie E. Merrell in November of 1956 in Illinois. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 1962.

She was a lapper and polisher at Texas Instruments and a member of the Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro.

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Johnny Toland, David Toland, Anita Modl, Cynthia Newton, Monique Rios and Micah Toland; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jerri Morrell and Cynthia Morrell; a granddaughter; two brothers and two sisters.

Services are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
