Dennis G. Frey of Northbridge, California died peacefully on January 16, 2011 at the age of 74.
He was born on July 18, 1936 to Harold and Helen Frey of Colfax. He was a 1954 graduate of Colfax High School and a graduate of AIB in Des Moines.

Dennis G. Frey of Northbridge, California died peacefully January 16, 2011 at the age of 74.

He was born on July 18, 1936 to Harold and Helen Frey of Colfax. He was a 1954 graduate of Colfax High School and a graduate of AIB in Des Moines.

In 1957, he married Dona Drier from Hubbard, IA and moved to Los Angeles, California. They had two daughters.

He was a marketing manager for Pacific Equipment; selling large power equipment for golf courses and parks. He also worked for Toro, managing the distribution office in San Diego, California.

Denny enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially boating, dune buggies, off road jeeping, golfing and corvettes.

Denny is survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Mark) Hovator of Porter Ranch, CA and Pam (Joe) Bartnicki of Calabasas, CA., grandsons Nick and Garrett Hovator and a sister Connie Berkey of Colfax and many nieces and nephews.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Helen Frey and brother in-law Stephen Berkey.

A celebration of Denny’s life was held on January 21, 2011 in Calabasas, California. It was attended by many relatives and friends.

Memorials are being donated to the Lewy Body Dementia Association in his Memory. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Des Moines Register or the Newton (IA) Daily News Wed 2 Mar 2011
