D. Natalia Klugman, 88, of Camarillo, passed into the presence of her Savior and Lord, Jesus, on April 24, 2013.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Klugman; sons John and Richard Grentzer; daughters Diane Grentzer and Meg Connelly; sister, Judy Keith; seven grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Born in Newton, Iowa, Natalia married Dale, a naval aviator, in Carmel, Calif., 49 years ago. She came to prominence in Camarillo originally as one of the city's first Welcome Wagon Hostesses.

Known best for her intense love of God and Country, Natalia has served in prayer ministries and Republican Women's organizations for many years. She presided as President of Yorba Linda Republican Women Federated, and more recently as Chaplain, and Vice President for Programs in Camarillo and Ventura County Republican Women's Clubs. Additionally, in 1999 she was honored by the California State Legislature as Woman of the year.

Beautiful on the inside as well as the outside, Natalia had that rare blend of courage, spirit of adventure, and loving compassion that took her to many lands and enabled her to touch many lives.

Natalia's life will be celebrated at a funeral service at Camarillo Community Church, 1322 Las Posas Road, Camarillo, Calif., on Saturday, April 27, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. The Graveside Service will be held at Conejo Mountain Memorial Cemetery, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, at 2 p.m.
