Last evening at seven-thirty at his home in Kellogg, Joseph Braley died after an illness of three months.
Mr. Braley came to Iowa many years ago from Vermont and stopped in Kellogg being one of the first settlers there. For many years he was engaged in farming then moved into town where for the past twelve years he has been in the grain business with I. L. Patton under the firm name of Patton & Braley.
Deceased was about seventy-seven years old.
He left a family of four daughters and three sons. Two sons and one daughter are at home the rest are married. The funeral will be held tomorrow at the family residence in Kellogg at two p.m.
