Some time ago Mrs. Bert Long of Panonia, Colo., came to visit her sister, Mrs. Andrew Lathrum. Her little son, Byron, aged about two years, was taken seriously ill. Mr. Long was telegraphed and came at once. The little one died and was buried yesterday afternoon, the funeral being held at the Lathrum home. Mr. and Mrs. Long and Mr. Long’s mother, Mrs. John Long of Lanesborough, Iowa, went to Colfax last evening with Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Wyatt, who had come down for the funeral. The young parents are almost broken hearted.
