This community has seldom been so shocked and saddened as it was Monday morning, when the announcement was made that Mrs. Geo. Hays was dead. It come like a bold out of a clear sky and cast a gloom over everyone. Mrs. Hays had been sick for a couple of weeks, but was not thought to be in any danger. The change came very suddenly Sunday night, and after complaining of an awful pain, she passed away before her husband, who was alone with her at the time, could realize that she was dying. Everything possible was done, but she was past human aid. The immediate cause of her death was a blood clot in the heart. – News.
